SUMMARY: LC 41 1210 - Amends Code Section 20-2-143 relating to sex education and AIDS prevention. Would require additional instruction for female students on the best practices for, and risks associated with the use of tampons. Would also require that any physicians and nurses practicing in hospitals or schools that provide tampons to their female patients, advise patients of the risk  between tampons and toxic shock syndrome (TSS).
